Condos around Chomedey and the metro
Chomedey is Laval's most populous district and home to its main commercial hubs, Carrefour Laval and Centropolis, with apartment towers and condos alongside townhouses and single-family homes — and three metro stations, Cartier, De la Concorde and Montmorency, a short trip away. If you live in one of the towers:
- Wide or floor-to-ceiling glass — zebra or roller blinds handle long spans cleanly, and motorization earns its keep on anything heavy.
- Syndicate rules — many buildings want a uniform look from outside. A neutral backing usually solves it: colour inside, white outside. More in blinds for condos.
- Neighbours across the way — day-and-night blinds give privacy without shutting the room off from daylight.

Houses in Sainte-Dorothée, Sainte-Rose and Vimont
Sainte-Dorothée is known for quiet residential streets, large single-family homes and the horticultural greenhouses that earned it the nickname "flower capital"; Sainte-Rose and Vimont are established residential areas too. Rebates in Québec
